    Elizabeth Gibbs is making her film debut with the role of Nina in MADLY. Originally from South Georgia, she graduated with her BFA in Theatre Performance from Columbus State University. With an extensive theatre background, she’s played roles such as Penny in “Hairspray”, Suzette in “Don’t Dress For Dinner” and Columbia in “The Rocky Horror Show.” With classical training under her belt, she’s thrilled to bring Nina and this tragic, yet comical story to life.

  • Jovan Christopher Davis

    Jovan Christopher was born in North Carolina and raised in upper Marlboro, MD. His stage credits include Antigone in Ferguson produced by Theatre of War, The Brothers Size produced by The Ancram Opera House, and The Mile Long Opera produced by The Office.

  • Allison Dayne

    ALEX

    Allison Dayne in an actor, writer and director from Boise, ID. She/they attended Westminster College in SLC, Utah where they received their BFA in Performing Arts. Dayne was selected for Savannah College of Art & Design’s Atelier Writing Program and Second City Comedy Studies program in Chicago, IL. They went on to write, direct and perform in Unrequited: A Chekovian Collision which won Fringe Festival’s Critics Choice Award and currently in negotiations with regional theatres. Having modeled around the country they were able to fearlessly immersive themself into different communities and cultures, giving them a broader understanding of the world. Dayne’s main goal in life is to create new works that spark change, encourage laughter and provoke thought on critical issues in society today.

  • Kyael Moss

    SAM

    Kyael Moss first got his start acting for Shakespeare and Co. in Lenox, Massachusetts. From there he went on to perform several plays, showcases, one acts, and more experimental pieces until landed in Atlanta, GA and began to gain an appreciation for film. As a lifetime lover of movies and the immortal power of the screen it gives him great pleasure to be portraying Sam in MADLY, as it will be his feature film debut. In addition to his fervor for the opportunity, Kyael was attracted to the project for its ability to portray and modernize elements of The Seagull that still resonate with artists of today.

    MORGAN

    Atlanta native actor she has a passion for creating meaningful art. From founding Black Arts Theatre Company at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill to working with the collegiate association for artists of color, it’s deeper than gaining game or getting paid - she believes art can change the world. As a trained theatrical actor, storytelling is in her blood and hopes to translate the beauty of theatre into this masterful feature film.

    James R Carey is an award winning film and theatre director/writer, plus a teacher and performer with both national and international credits who is based out of Atlanta, GA. He recently moved to ATL after living and working in Los Angeles for many years to be closer to family and take advantage of the entertainment boom in the area.

  • Lainie Smith

    IRINA

    Lainie Smith an American actress and Atlanta GA native for more than 35 years. With studies in the Meisner Technique, her first role was opposite Diane Ladd and Carroll O’Conner, in the TV series, In the Heat of the Night. She has since been recognized with awards for Best Supporting Actress, L A Independent Short Films Festival, and Excellence in Acting in the Southern Shorts Film Festival 2018. She is credited in numerous feature films and other award-winning short films across the US.

  • Collin Shephard

    Collin Shephard is an actor, stand up comedian and musician. Known for his films such as; Rule to Rule, Hallowed Be Thy Name and Unfiltered. He graduated from Rob Mello’s Meisner Intensive and studies consistently in the Atlanta, GA area.

  • Antwan Flowers

    Director of Photography

    Antwan Flowers is DP/Director for Louis Lamar Inc a commercial production company and community collective based out of Atlanta, Ga

    Antwan was DP/Director for The SIERRA CLUB’S documentary Dangerous Neighbor. In Collaboration with CIHCA, NAACP, IPA and many other community activist and environmental groups The Dangerous Neighbor documented the tremendous work behind closing one of the states largest polluter.

    Antwan is also currently in production with IL state representative Jehan Gordon-Booth and Lenore Anderson; the president of Alliance for Safety and Justice. The 3 part documentary highlights the expungement process giving low level criminals the opportunity to have their convictions expunged.

    Antwan has directed everything from music videos, sitcoms to feature films. In the corporate world Antwan has directed for Caterpillar, Audi Porsche, Coca-Cola, Target, Essence and other Top 500 brands.

  • James R. Carey

    Co-Director

    James R. Carey is an award winning film and theatre director/writer, plus a teacher and performer with both national and international credits who is based out of Atlanta, GA. He recently moved to ATL after living and working in Los Angeles for many years to be closer to family and take advantage of the entertainment boom in the area.

    He served as the Artistic Director of two of LA's most prestigious theatre companies. The ATTIC Theatre Ensemble located near Culver City from 1987 to 2012, and starting in 2018, with SkyPilot Theatre Company, which focuses on new play development. He has overseen the production of over 400 plays and short films covering a wide range of genres including musicals, Shakespeare, and new works. His productions have won numerous awards including 14 Drama-Logue awards and several Picks of the Week. Favorite productions include the World Premiere of Sam Shepard’s Suicide in B Flat, World Premiere of four unknown Thornton Wilder one acts, the West Coast Premiere of Frogs by Stephen Sondheim, the LA small theatre debut of Love, Valor, Compassion and the West Coast Premiere of Theresa Rebeck’s Family of Mann.

    As a stage director, he has over 100 plays to his credit including award winning productions of The Elephant Man and All My Sons, world premiere one acts by Lee Blessing and Jeffery Hatcher, classics like The Cherry Orchard for Oasis Theatre and MacBeth for Kingsmen Shakespeare, and the creation of original works like Coming to Zimbabwe and Come Together, A Beatles Cabaret that have toured the US, Africa and the Middle East.

    He has a MFA in Theatre Management, Cum Laude from California State University–Long Beach.

    Allison Dayne is a writer, Ted X Talk speaker (“Westminster Thinks Big”), and classically trained actor. Allison was selected for the Second City Comedy Studies Program to write and perform in Chicago. Was chosen for New Jersey Shakespeare and Idaho Shakespeare festival's apprenticeship companies. Dayne was signed with BAREFACE modeling agency in Dubai while pursuing their MFA in performing arts and writing from Savannah College of Art and Design.

    Allison is known for creating opportunities for herself and others. Allison’s production company Leading Ladies provides opportunities for women’s voices to be heard on stage and in film and donates the financial gains to nonprofits such as the Rape Recovery Center, Domestic Violence Shelter and Suicide Hotline. Allison is now in pre-production for another film entitled King.

  • Kali Lewis

    Kali Lewis is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. A native of Miami, FL, Kali now lives in Atlanta, GA. She is an actor, model, host, and producer signed with the #1 talent agency in all of the Southeast, J Pervis Talent.

    Since a child, Kali held lead roles in nationwide commercials. She appeared in an international Colgate commercial and most recently appeared in a nationwide commercial for Caterpillar Inc. Her ability to bring a character to life was endorsed by Tasha Smith, Meagan Good, and D.W Moffett.

    Kali Lewis studied at Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating with a B.EA. in Performing Arts in 2018. Coming from a family of performers, Kali Lewis is the youngest in the family and is adamant about carrying her family’s legacy. Gearing up for an incredible year, Kali is currently filming and producing a couple of feature films in Atlanta, GA. There is so much more to come from this budding star!
